I love making food in the crock pot because there is not much better than going home to delicious meal that is ready and took very little effort to prepare.
This recipe is a great way to get a lot of nutrients and to stretch your dollar. This soup is a great way to utliize any leftovers you may have from our roasted chicken and vegetables recipe, and is also a great way to get additional benefits from the chicken.
Servings: 2-4
Cook Time: 24 hours
Ingredients:
Organic Chicken Bones
1 gallon of filtered water
1/2 Organic Onion
4 cloves Organic Garlic
1 Tbsp Raw Organic Coconut Vinegar
1-2 cups Organic Roasted Vegetables
Organic Roasted Chicken
Sea Salt, to taste
In a crock pot add chicken bones, filtered water and Coconut Vinegar. Allow to sit for 30 minutes before turning on the crock pot. The acid in the vinegar helps to release nutrients from the bones.
Cover and cook on low for 48 hours.
At this point add any left over chicken and vegetables you have from the previous recipe. Cook on high for one hour or until vegetables are reheated.
